2020 Lincoln Aviator vs. Corsair: Which Luxury SUV is Right for You?

When you're in the market for a luxury SUV, there are many things to consider to figure out which one is right for you and your family. Both the 2020 Lincoln Aviator and the Corsair have exceptional value so you simply can't go wrong with either of them, but examining the features will make certain you get the perfect 320 × 240vehicle.

The Corsair was designed to be a miniature version of the Aviator. The entire front end was modeled after the smaller Ford Escape. While both vehicles have driver comfort in mind, the Corsair maximizes the space in the cabin to feel more like a crossover rather than a full-fledged SUV. In terms of size, the Aviator is much larger than its sister SUV. With the larger size of the Aviator comes added horsepower so this maybe your best option if you are planning to carry more passengers.

Fuel Efficiency

If fuel efficiency is a factor in your buy decision there's a major difference between the Aviator and the Corsair. The larger and more powerful Aviator consumes more fuel than its junior. The Aviator can get up to 26 MPG on the highway, while the Corsair gets up to 29 MPG on the highway. While this may not look like much of a difference, it adds up at the pump.

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator and the Corsair come with all of the same multiple driver-assist technologies included, such as Evasive Steering Assist, Active Park Assist, and even Adaptive Cruise Control.

For both the Lincoln Aviator and the Corsair, 2020 is the year for new technology. Both of these vehicles come with media and technology enhancements, like the Revel Ultima 3D Audio System. There are now 28 high-quality audio speakers placed strategically throughout both vehicles.

Other upgrades to the technology in both vehicles include a new Lincoln connect embedded modem which allows access to a mobile hotspot so no one will have to be without their data on the road. Lincoln is now offering an option to use your smartphone as a key, eliminating the need for a fob. As long as your phone is linked, you can drive.

In terms of safety and technology, either one of these vehicles would be an excellent pick. The real difference between them in terms of performance is power. The larger Aviator features a much larger, more powerful V-6 engine, while the Corsair is only a four-cylinder with a 2.0L engine. The Aviator also has additional seating available offering the option of a third row, or you can simply fold those seats down for additional cargo room. Lincoln has gone out of their way to make certain that both of these models offer the best safety features available and up-to-date technology to make both feel extremely luxurious. It all comes down to size and fuel efficiency; which Lincoln SUV will you choose? If you have a larger family and need the extra space, the Aviator is the best option.
