Pizza is more than a meal. It brings people together in a way that no other food really does. Everyone digs in, you can customize it any way you want, and is there ever really a bad piece? If you're looking for somewhere to find your next favorite spot to eat, here are five great places for pizza in Fort Lauderdale.
1. Las Olas Pizza Company
Located on the historic riverfront, at 21 W. Las Olas Blvd. is one of our favorite spots in town to grab a piece of pizza. Las Olas has a menu full of delicious, cheesy options. Try one of their specialty pizzas such as the Venetian, Sicilian, or the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Another option is to build your own pizza with toppings such as pepperoni, green peppers, chicken, anchovies, mushrooms, and more. Pair your pizza with some of their garlic knots or mozzarella sticks and you're all set for the perfect meal.
2. Marina Mile Pizza
Another spot to grab a great slice is Marina Mile Pizza. They offer a wide range of menu options including their Southwestern Pie with onions, jalapenos, grilled chicken, and BBQ sauce. They also have their Greek Pie with feta cheese, fresh basil, black olives, tomatoes, and garlic, which is a great option for those hot summer days. They are located at 1025 W. State Road 84.
3. Da Vinci's Pizzeria and Restaurant
This family-owned pizza joint is the perfect choice for pizza any day. Da Vinci's Pizzeria's specialty menu includes their Buffalo Chicken Wing Pizza with boneless chicken in wing sauce, and the White Pizza with provolone, melted ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella cheese, and garlic. If you want that traditional pizza taste, but in a new way, you can try their calzone with fresh mozzarella, ricotta cheese, and marinara sauce. They also have a delicious stromboli with ham, salami, pepperoni, and cheese. Find them at 3936 N. Ocean Blvd.
4. Sarpino's Pizzeria
Sarpino's Pizzeria is a great spot for your next family pizza night, or order your pizza for delivery for a fun family night in. They have great specials like The Super Spread with four large pizzas, two trays of pasta, four two-liters or soda, and two trays of salad. There's also the smaller Spread with two pizzas, two sodas, one salad, and one pasta for a smaller get together.
If you need help picking a pizza, we love their New York Deli. This traditional pan crust is cooked perfectly and topped with Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, and ground beef. Sarpino's is located at 100 E. Broward Blvd. Suite 103.
5. Vito's Gourmet Pizza
Vito's Gourmet Pizza's menu has too many items to list, but we will let you in on a few of our favorites. Their Garbage Stromboli has pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella, and sausage. For traditional gourmet pizzas, you can't do any better than their Barioni with pepperoni, pesto, tomatoes, and cheese. Vito's is located at 1489 S.E. 17th St.
